This yogurt is among one of the most respected and very healthy foods and has more protein than standard yogurt.
You would not believe, but you can do quite easily. Need 1 liter of full-fat yogurt (3.2 percent milk fat). Take a large container, and it put a large colander. Through thick gauze install strainer. At that pour yogurt, transparent cover with foil and leave in the fridge that is drained overnight, but no more than 8 to 10 hours. Yogurt, which remained in gauze has become a domestic Greek yogurt.
Greek yogurt, you can make in a slightly different way. For 1 cup of yogurt, you need 2 cups of milk fatter and 2 to 3 tablespoons of plain yogurt (at room temperature) and, of course, gauze.
Milk heated to a high temperature until it reaches 80C (almost before cooking). Remove from the heat, put in a jar and allow to cool to a temperature of 40C. Now stir in yogurt. Cover the jar with a cloth and leave in a warm place overnight (8 to 10 hours). Now this mixture wring as in the previous recipe, but it will be enough 4 to 6 hours. Such yogurt may take up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
You can add the vanilla extract and a little fruits and grains and have a great breakfast.
