Queen Cleopatra is considered one of the most beautiful women in the history of Egypt. Cleopatra is known for its small rituals of beauty that is practiced on a daily basis, such as the treatment of hair with warm oils and bath in donkey’s milk and honey, and face masks with clay that is applied each week. We bring you a recipe for a face mask like the one used by Queen Cleopatra more than 2000 years ago, and you can do it yourself.
This mask moisturizes the skin, removes excess fat and greasy glare, helps prevent acne and rejuvenates the skin.
For making a mask you need:
- 2 tablespoons white or green clay
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon of almond oil
Instructions for the preparation of mask:
Mix the clay with milk and almond oil, add the honey and continue to stir until the mixture is united.
Apply to face and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse your face with lukewarm water.
Mask should be applied once a week.
