New research by scientists from Australia revealed that turmeric has excellent performance on memory and it can accelerate already in an hour.
The active ingredient in turmeric, also known as curcumin, has excellent performance on brain health and cognitive function.
The study included 60 healthy adults of middle age. They were asked to complete a questionnaire that included questions about their lifestyle. Participants should take a supplement of curcumin, and scientists have tested their memory before and after taking curcumin.
The results showed that curcumin is improving memory after one hour. The cognitive function of participants were much better, their blood circulation was better and were less likely to feel a sudden change of mood.
Even participants who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety, dementia, irritability and apathy, they felt the positive changes after taking curcumin supplement.
Participants in the study were taking 700 milligrams of curcumin daily for 12 weeks. Experts point out that, before taking curcumin, be sure to consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Previous studies have shown that people who regularly consume turmeric, already after a few months they feel positive changes to their health.
Only one year of regular consumption of curcumin is sufficient to significantly reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
