Hormones have a major impact on health, sometimes we’re not aware of. Affect mood, weight, digestion… If you do not believe us, ask a pregnant woman is you notice any changes on it since she was pregnant.
Feeling tired, your skin is problematic, you simply can not affect body weight, PMS, poor sleep, lots of sleep probably your hormones are not fine.
Hormones are chemical messengers of our body. They travel through the blood to tissues and organs. Affect many processes in the body:
Growth and development
- metabolism – affect the use of energy that the body gets from food
- sexual function
- reproduction
- mood
The endocrine system is complex and it is likely we will never fully understand, but there are some basic things that we can do to improve the body’s ability to produce and balance hormones:
Avoid omega-6 unsaturated fats
Eat more foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as fish. Choose fats such as coconut oil, real butter, olive oil and animal fat (lard). It is very important to know the source of food and they are from organic farming.
Avoid vegetable oils, peanut oil, soybean oil, margarine or other chemically modified substances.
Limit your intake of caffeine, replace coffee with tea
Too much caffeine can affect the endocrine system. Can cause complete chaos, especially if there are already additional disorders caused by stress hormones, pregnancy, presence of toxins …
Avoid toxins
Toxins present in plastics, pesticides, cleaning products and various other products may contain chemicals that affect hormone production.
Cook in ceramic containers, store food in glass jars, avoid plastic containers and bags, and read the labels on cleaning products.
Sleep
Insufficient sleep affects important hormones. Disrupted hormones affect the health and operation of the body. Therefore, if you want to preserve your health you have enough sleep.
Secure the body needs nutrients
Spend some time in the sun (not too much) to ensure sufficient vitamin D. Eat foods that are rich in magnesium and calcium. It will help in maintaining the balance of hormones.
Practice
Exercise lightly. Too much exercise can negatively affect hormone. We suggest swimming and walking. Avoid cardio exercise and very heavy exercise.
