Avocado helps to regulate cholesterol

We all know that the intake of healthy fats enhances the health of the whole body, especially for cardiovascular health.

New research by American scientists, published in the journal of the American Heart Association, found that daily consumption of avocados can help regulate cholesterol.

The study included 45 obese persons. Scientists have divided them into groups, and each group was supposed to enter unsaturated fatty acids. However, one group with all that eating one avocado daily.

All participants with lower bad (LDL) cholesterol had decreased significantly, but most of the participants, who are consumed every day avocados. Their level of LDL cholesterol decreased by as much as 13 units, which is about 8 units higher, compared to the other participants.

All sources of unsaturated fatty acids, including avocados, contain fats that promote cardiovascular health. However, the researchers point out that avocado further contributes to the health as it helps in the regulation of appetite.

One medium-sized avocado contains about 320 calories and 30 grams of fat. One avocado a day can be too much, which is why it is important to consult a doctor or nutritionist.

Avocado is really easy to incorporate into your daily diet because it can be eaten with almost all types of food, including fish, meat, salad, milk and milk products.
