Fruits and vegetables

Kleiner also recommends at least one portion of berries during the day.

Egg yolks

Egg yolks are one of the few foods containing phospholipids proven to reduce the progress of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, and play a very important role when it comes to the health of cell membranes. To respect diet for good mood you should eat one egg yolk per day.

Milk

The milk is the ideal food for the soul and the body, because it provides a combination of protein and carbohydrates, and lactose. Studies have shown that milk helps to deal with stress, anger, anxiety and frustration. The proteins in milk also contain amino acids that enhance muscle development, recovers and restores.

Hot cocoa

Susan Kleiner recommends that every night before bedtime drink a cup of hot cocoa that raises serotonin levels, which will help you to relax. Cocoa also contains phytochemicals that are good for leveling blood pressure and general health. And finally, the ritual literature preparations of this warm drink before bed will provide you a good and peaceful sleep which is important for a good mood.

Foods that spoil the mood

During the first week of this diet you should not consume foods that badly affect mood, such as alcohol, refined sugars and caffeine. After the first week you can gradually return to these foods into your daily diet, but reduce their intake to a minimum.
