Some of the rules of a healthy diet are known to be the all and so repetitive that it is simply impossible that you don’t know that too much sugar and fat adversely affects the health of a line.
But, how are dietary rules that are confirmed by scientific research? Rodney Bilton, a professor of biochemistry at the University of Liverpool, has spent 15 years researching which foods to eat and how to stay healthy and slim.
What is Bilton discovered, it may surprise you and make you change some habits!
Eat unripe bananas
Green bananas, and whole grains, vegetables and dietary fiber, contain resistant starch. This is the best form of fibers, which are more slowly absorbed and provide more energy. Although it belongs to the carbohydrates, the starches do not raise blood sugar levels and is not a risk foods for diabetics. Also, the starch from green banana triggers the secretion of the hormone glucagon, which causes the body to burn fat faster.
Do not make mashed potatoes
If you keep your sugar intake at a minimum, you will more likely achieve and maintain a slender line. The way we prepare food affects how much sugar we consume. For example, you can enter the body as much as 25 percent more sugar if you cook potatoes and mash them. Potatoes and other carbohydrates contain a lot of starch. When the starch is cooked and mashed true, more starch is converted to sugar, compared to other ways of preparing potatoes.
That is not the case just with potatoes. For example, more sugar from the apples will enter the body if you cook and make porridge or juice, instead if you eat in the fresh form.
Drink water and reduce pain in the spine
According to research, as many as 75 percent of people take less fluid in the body than the recommended daily dose. It affects not only the line, but also the pain. In fact, scientific studies reveal that 8 to 10 glasses of water a day can reduce pain in the spine and joints with 80 percent of men. This is because in cases of dehydration of the liquid in the joints becomes more dense to form crystals of uric acid, which is normally ejected mainly in the urine. That can result in joint pain.
Careful with tofu
For people who take protein from meat completely replace the tofu, you can answer a mineral deficiency. This food is made from soybean, containing a substance which is known as phytic acid. It can block the absorption of important minerals such as calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc.
Eat as people from the Masai
For a long time the opinion that too much fatty food causes obesity. As a result, people are eating more processed foods, carbohydrates. However, some people diet is rich in fat, and they are healthy again. Members of the tribe in East Africa, such as the Masai, a day enter up to 400 grams of animal fat, while the UK recommends 60 grams of fat per day. Masai tribes have low cholesterol levels and do not suffer from heart disease.
